About

I started using Linux in 2013. My first distro was Slackware 13. I had a hard time partitioniong the disk drive from the command line, and I had no idea which packages to install. Initially I resisted Emacs and Vim, but once I began to understand Linux and the philosophy of it’s creators it became increasingly evident that these editors are at the core of the the Linux experience. The fact that 13 years later I am still using Emacs on Slackware to publish this blog is evidence of their enduring utility and simplicity.
