I replaced my Thinkpad T470’s keyboard after destroying the CapsLock key. In all liklihood the plastic hinges inside the key broke because as an Emacs user I rely heavily on the Meta key macros, and not wishing to damage my hands I remapped Capslock to my Left Conrol key.

My Thinkpad did not come with a Smarcard reader, just a blank module, so I installed a Smartcard reader.
